COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT INC. NAMES CATHERINE DONOHUE VICE PRESIDENT DISTRIBUTION/SALES OPERATIONS

Toronto, CANADA (October 5, 2005)-Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc., the company behind such renowned children's properties as "The Doodlebops," "Gerald McBoing Boing," "Arthur" and "Caillou," has appointed Catherine Donohue Vice President Distribution/Sales Operations. The announcement was made by Toper Taylor, President and COO.
Based in Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc.'s Toronto office and reporting to Senior Vice President of Sales and Distribution, Sam Ewing, Donohue will be responsible for home entertainment and television sales within Canada focused on pre-sales to English and French broadcasters. In addition, Donohue will oversee the worldwide operations of the Toronto-headquartered Music Publishing and Traffic Coordination offices.
"Catherine Donohue brings to her Cookie Jar position an extensive track record in international sales and distribution that make her an extremely valuable asset to our company. Under the direction of Sam Ewing, Donohue will play a pivotal role in the continuing success of Cookie Jar's global entertainment initiatives," said Taylor.
Donohue joins Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc. with fourteen years of domestic and international television sales experience. Most recently, Donohue served as Executive in Charge of Production for CBC's Children and Youth Department, where she was responsible for series development and production. Previously, she served Nelvana as the Director of Canadian Sales and during her five-year tenure progressed to Vice President of Distribution and Canadian Sales where she managed the international distribution department and was responsible for Canadian pre-sales. Prior to her time at Nelvana, Donohue served as Director of International Sales for Behaviour Entertainment, where she was responsible for the distribution of children's programming, film and documentary. She has also served as a secretary and board member for the Alliance for Children and Television.
