Toronto, Canada (September 8, 2010) - Cookie Jar Entertainment's Caillou will debut new episodes on Treehouse beginning Saturday, September 11th at 2:30 p.m. in the show's regular timeslot. New episodes will also air on Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Viewers can also catch Caillou stripped Monday - Friday in multiple timeslots.

"Caillou is a signature brand for Cookie Jar and one of Canada's great home-grown properties. We are pleased to announce that the new season will be debuting on Treehouse," says Michael Hirsh, CEO, Cookie Jar Entertainment.

Caillou addresses the everyday adventures a preschooler faces, as seen through the eyes of the loveable 4-year-old star. Caillou experiences all the wonders of being a child that kids and parents around the world can relate to. The Caillou property has resonated with audiences around the world for over a decade.

"In the new season we've made a conscious effort to have Caillou model healthy habits that young viewers can mirror. We know that kids relate to him because he's just like they are, so we wanted to use the power of this show to teach preschool children about ways they can live healthy lives," says Toper Taylor, President/COO, Cookie Jar Entertainment.

Caillou began as a French-Canadian book series published by Chouette Publishing. The brand enjoys great success in Spain and Portugal, is a top rated series in Germany and is beginning licensing programs in Asia and Latin America. In addition to the now 92 half-hours of television, Canadian fans will also be treated to a new live Caillou stage show, "Caillou's Greatest Skate Of All", which is produced by Koba Entertainment and will tour from coast to coast this holiday season.
