COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT FEATURES NEW SEASON OF JOHNNY TEST, MUDPIT, AND TOP PERFORMING LIBRARY TITLES AT MIPTV
(Burbank, CA, March 12, 2012) — Cookie Jar Entertainment is heading to MIPTV with a full slate of exciting programming, including 26 new episodes of action-comedy hit “Johnny Test,” new series “Mudpit,” and library title TV ratings winners such as their all-star line-up of “Caillou,” “Hurray for Huckle! (Busytown Mysteries),” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.”

For kids 4-11, global hit comedy, Johnny Test, heads into its sixth season with 26 “all-new” episodes in production with creator and executive producer Scott Fellows (Big Time Rush) back at the helm. The series has a proven ratings track record and has been picked up by Teletoon and Cartoon Network in multiple territories including the U.S, UK, France, Latin America, Asia and Australia. Johnny Test is a top-rated show on Cartoon Network in the U.S., and a top-rated show on Teletoon in Canada among Kids 2-11. Johnny Test follows the zany adventures of an 11-year old boy who serves as the ultimate guinea pig for his two older scientist sisters. The sixth season will bring the series total to 117 half-hour episodes. Plus, a full-length animated TV movie is in discussions.
For the tween set, MUDPIT (26X22) is a half live-action, half CGI animated series revolving around four real-world teens who form a virtual band called MUDPIT while playing their favorite online music game and become rock stars on the web. The series takes place in a gaming cafe and a fantastic, virtual world known as MUZIKA. Their online avatar rock band personas battle for a coveted record deal, while their real life selves engage in the daily comedy and drama of teen life. MUDPIT recently premiered on TELETOON in Canada. Within its first 2 months of ratings, MUDPIT beat its lead-out show and ranked #5 for Kids 2-11 and kids 6-11 in Teletoon’s Thursday evening line-up.1
Caillou is a household name for families around the world with kids ages 2- 5 who have watched and loved the Caillou TV series. With Caillou (92 x 30), preschoolers feel right at home with trusted pal Caillou, his sister Rosie and all their family and friends as they experience the everyday adventures of childhood. In Europe, Caillou enjoys great success in Iberia and Turkey, and is a top rated TV series in Germany on Super RTL and in Italy on Boomerang. In North America, Caillou airs in Canada on a top preschool destination, Treehouse, and in the U.S. on a top preschool destination, PBS Kids, and Sprout where it’s a top program for the network among Kids 2-5.2

“Hurray for Huckle! (Busytown Mysteries)”

“Sonic the Hedgehog”
For kids, Cookie Jar Entertainment brings animated video-game based TV programming based on the hugely successful Sega video game franchise, Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic the Hedgehog (26X30), Adventures of Sonic (65X30), Sonic Underground (40X30), as well as one sensational Christmas special Sonic Christmas Blast (1x30). These Sonic the Hedgehog television series are perfectly poised to leverage the new and upcoming game releases of the worldwide gaming icon voted #1 most iconic video game character of all time based on an MSN poll. “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch”
Leveraging the on-going monster and supernatural craze among kids, Cookie Jar is also showcasing Sabrina, the Animated Series (65X30) and Sabrina's Secret Life (26X30), two animated television seriesbased on the hugely popular Archie Comics character Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which has become a part of pop culture. Sabrina, one of the most popular properties at Archie Comics, the leading mass market comic book publisher in the world, first appeared in the pages of Archie’s Madhouse #22 in 1962. The character was a hit, and appeared in an animated series in the 1970s. The character also had a long-running ABC and The WB live-action sitcom that ran for seven seasons and included two television movies and one soundtrack release.
